Job summary

Bruker Cellular Analysis (BCA) is expanding its antibody discovery and T cell profiling capabilities with advanced optofluidic technology. As Staff Scientist in Immunology, you will lead development of next-generation single-cell workflows for B cell antibody discovery, T cell profiling, and TCR discovery on Beacon platforms.

You will serve as a scientific SME in immune cell biology, translating customer needs into robust, scalable workflows and contributing to adjacent product lines, including

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience, or MS with 5+ years industry experience.
• Deep expertise in B cell and T cell biology, including activation and functional characterization.
• Strong flow cytometry expertise including panel design and data analysis.
• Experience independently designing and troubleshooting complex assays with primary immune cells.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, optimization, and execution of single-cell assays and workflows.
• Design workflows connecting single-cell phenotypes with downstream molecular recovery (antibody heavy/light chain, TCR sequencing).
• Apply deep B cell and T cell biology expertise to guide assay and product design.
• Collaborate with genomics, molecular biology, and engineering teams to advance profiling capabilities.
• Translate customer, market, and product requirements into scientific and assay requirements.
• Serve as SME for strategic customer programs and translate needs into product requirements.
• Partner with Applications, Commercial, and Product Management to drive customer success.
• Provide scientific leadership for feasibility studies, concept exploration, and design reviews.
