Bruker Daltonics seeks a Staff Scientist in Immunology to lead next-generation single-cell workflows for antibody discovery, T cell profiling, and TCR discovery on Beacon optofluidic platforms. You will collaborate across biology, genomics, and engineering to translate customer needs into scalable assays and product capabilities.

The role requires deep immune cell biology expertise, strong experimental design skills, and a track record in product development and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or related field with 3+ years industry experience or MS with 5+ years industry experience.
• Deep expertise in B cell and T cell biology including activation, differentiation, and functional characterization.
• Strong flow cytometric analysis skills for immune cell characterization, design, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to independently design, execute, interpret, and troubleshoot complex experiments with primary immune cells.
• Experience contributing to product development, including assay/workflow development and translating customer needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, optimization, and execution of single-cell assays and workflows for immune cells.
• Design workflows on Beacon optofluidic platforms connecting single-cell phenotypes with molecular recovery.
• Apply deep knowledge of B/T cell biology to guide assay and product design.
• Collaborate with genomics, molecular biology, and engineering teams to advance profiling capabilities.
• Translate customer and market requirements into scientific and assay requirements for platform development.
• Act as SME for strategic customer programs and design experiments to address challenges.
• Partner with Applications, Commercial, and Product Management to drive customer success.
• Provide scientific leadership for feasibility studies, concept exploration, and design reviews.
