Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Scientific Informatics Lead to drive chemistry ELN and data-management platforms across discovery to process chemistry. You will translate complex workflows into scalable capabilities, leading end-to-end responsibilities from requirements to deployment and support.

The ideal candidate has hands-on ELN experience (Dotmatics or similar) and strong chemistry domain knowledge, with a track record of platform leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in medicinal, synthetic, process chemistry, or discovery research.
• Gathers requirements, configures workflows, and manages releases across ELN platforms.
• Leads platform leadership with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery for chemistry experiments and data workflows.
• Translate workflows into user stories, specs, data mappings and criteria.
• Oversee ELN configuration, testing, deployment and user support.
• Design capture, structure management, stoichiometry and data traceability.
• Coordinate integrations with inventory, analytics and lab systems.
• Own migration, data validation, reporting and platform improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams including validation and security.
• Develop SOPs, training materials, and release notes.
