Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a Peer Academic Coach for Science Tutoring at the Learning Center. This part-time position involves working directly with students to enhance their learning in Human Anatomy & Physiology and Biology. The role requires effective communication and a solid understanding of natural sciences.
Applicants should have at least 12 college credit hours and a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The job may require occasional evening or weekend work depending on tutoring needs.

Science tutors work on campus at the Learning Center under the supervision of the Coordinator of Tutoring Services. Tutors assist students in becoming more successful and independent learners by integrating effective learning and study strategies, clarifying and reinforcing course content, and supporting assignments. Tutoring will be provided in Human Anatomy & Physiology I & II and Biology. The part‑time position works during fall and/or spring semesters when classes are in session with occasional evening or weekend work.
Pay range: $12 to $18 per hour depending on qualifications.
