The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking to hire tutors in the TRIO/Student Support Services Center. The ideal candidates would be responsible for tutoring students in various course materials. Tutor applicants who are considered for hire should have earned an A or B in a particular course and/or have adequate-to-extensive experience in the subject area. Previous tutoring, mentoring, and/or teaching experience are also considered. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to build rapport with others are important qualifications for applicants to possess. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
