Job summary

HOK is seeking a Project Manager/Architect to lead multi-disciplinary teams through all project phases in Seattle. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and client communications, ensuring design intent and quality are maintained while coordinating with consultants and internal leaders.

Responsibilities include developing scope, fees, and contracts, mentoring staff, and driving integrated sustainable design solutions. Travel and overtime may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed Architect with current registration preferred.
• NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Project Architect and Project Designer, accountable for project financial performance and team communication.
• Manages one or more projects during all phases of a project until completion.
• Directs employees and consultants at all levels to ensure work is completed as planned, budgeted, scheduled and in conformance with the design intent.
• Provides leadership and mentoring to staff and supports staff development.
• Develops project scope, fee, budget, and schedule in collaboration with clients and principals.
• Maintains client relationships and ensures ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Reviews contracts and negotiates consultant agreements and change orders when needed.
