Job summary

Datavant, the data collaboration platform transforming healthcare, seeks a Head of Science Operations to partner with the CSO and the Science Leadership Team. You will coordinate with Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Operations to translate the Science Team vision into clear priorities and measurable impact.

You will oversee strategic planning, governance, budgeting, time tracking, studies and publications, and leadership communications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field.
• Experience in roles requiring scientific judgment, strategic problem-solving, and leadership across scientific, technical, commercial, and operations functions.

Responsibilities

• Define science strategy and priorities with the CSO and Science Leadership Team.
• Translate priorities into plans, milestones, ownership, and success metrics.
• Lead Science Leadership Team meetings and coordinate operations.
• Propose services delivery resourcing for Leadership Team confirmation.
• Raise cross-functional risks, dependencies, and decisions requiring leadership attention.
• Communicate decisions and priorities across the Science organization.
• Develop integrated views of services, product science support, and client outcomes.
• Coordinate with Finance and Commercial on pipeline forecasts and capacity planning.
• Track studies and publications; lead change initiatives across Science.
• Prepare leadership presentations and represent the CSO in internal meetings.
