Job summary

PRO Companies is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) in Philadelphia to provide services in a charter school. This part-time role begins in the 2026-2027 school year and involves implementing therapy according to IEPs and collaborating with educational staff. Candidates must hold a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and an active Pennsylvania PT license, along with at least one year of experience working with children in an educational setting. Job Description
  • Implement specialized therapy treatment in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Administers physical therapy assessments to determine a student’s level of functioning relative to their age and educational placement in a variety of areas.
  • Analyze and interpret assessment data and facilitate the use of the data as a guide for operative instruction to improve student skills.
  • Collaborates alongside a multidisciplinary team including special education staff, classroom teachers, and other service providers to ensure continuity and consistency in providing comprehensive services to students.
  • Serves as a member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, IEP program team, and offer consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student’s goals
  • Completes, updates, and maintains required documentation
  • Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.
What You Bring
  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
  • Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License
  • Must have at least 1 year consecutive experience treating children and/or adolescents in an educational setting
  • Must be comfortable using a computer
  • Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
  • Current clearances (within 6 months)
