Job summary

A dedicated healthcare organization is seeking an exceptional Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services at a charter school in Philadelphia. This part-time position offers flexible schedules and a supportive work environment, prioritizing employees' growth and well-being. Responsibilities include implementing therapy according to students' Individualized Education Plans and collaborating with school staff. Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Must hold an active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCCs) is necessary.
  • Current clearances must be obtained within 6 months.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer.
  • Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards.
  • Current clearances (within 6 months).

Responsibilities

  • Implement therapy treatments per student's Individualized Education Plan.
  • Screen and evaluate students’ levels and progress.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents for intervention planning.
  • Maintain required documentation and perform duties assigned.
  • Serves as a member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, IEP program team, and offer consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student’s goals.
  • Complete, update, and maintain required documentation.
  • Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.

  • Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm

Job Description:
  • Implement specialized therapy treatment in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Screen, evaluate, and write reports on student levels, needs, strengths, and progress using approved testing and assessment tools
  • Analyze and interpret formal and informal assessment data and facilitate the use of the data as a guide for effective instruction to improve student speech/language skills.
  • Works with school personnel and parents to design and implement the student’s intervention plan, individual service plan, or individual student plan most appropriate to address the student’s need
  • Serves as a member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, IEP program team, and offer consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student’s goals
  • Complete, update, and maintain required documentation
  • Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
  • Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
  • Active Pennsylvania Speech‑Language Pathology License
  • PA Department of Education Teaching CertificationCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs)
