Job summary

Children's Therapy Consultants, LLC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to support K–12 students in school settings. You will evaluate, treat, and monitor progress for IEP-driven goals while collaborating with teachers, parents, and other therapists.

This role offers flexible scheduling and mentorship, with opportunities to grow clinically and professionally in a therapist-owned practice dedicated to student success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families and school staff.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Successful completion of required state licensure and school-based requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs.
• Conduct initial evaluations, re-evaluations, screenings, and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
• Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and annual progress reports promptly.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
• Consult with school personnel regarding accommodations, equipment, mobility, positioning, and accessibility.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations.
• Support students in achieving educational and functional goals within the school environment.

Children's Therapy Consultants is seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist to join our growing team of school-based clinicians. Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct initial evaluations, re-evaluations, screenings, and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
• Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and annual progress reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
• Consult with school personnel regarding classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, mobility, positioning, and accessibility.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations.
• Support students in achieving educational and functional goals within the school environment.

Required

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License (or eligibility for licensure).
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred

• School-based pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
• New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Mentorship and support are available.

Required Clearances

• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance (Act 34)
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• Any additional school district employment requirements
