Job summary

PRO is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students in Dallas, PA. The role is part-time (3 days/week: Tue-Thu) during normal school hours, serving K-21 caseload and implementing IEP-driven OT services.

You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, complete required documentation, and participate in ongoing training and mentorship. If you are energized by helping students reach their goals, we’d love to connect with you.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Pennsylvania OT license.
• Minimum 1 year consecutive experience treating children/adolescents in an educational setting.
• Comfortable using a computer.
• Able to complete documentation to school district standards.
• Current clearances (within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy per the student's IEP.
• Administer OT assessments to determine functioning in school.
• Analyze and interpret assessment data to guide instruction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of services.
• Participate in IEP meetings and consult with staff/parents.
• Complete and maintain required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Dallas, PA

What you'll do as an Occupational Therapist (OT).

• Implement specialized therapy treatment in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Administers occupational therapy assessments to determine a student's level of functioning relative to their age and educational placement in a variety of areas
• Analyze and interpret assessment data and facilitate the use of the data as a guide for operative instruction to improve student skills
• Collaborates alongside a multidisciplinary team including special education staff, classroom teachers, and other service providers to ensure continuity and consistency in providing comprehensive services to students
• Serves as a member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, IEP program team, and offer consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student’s goals
• Completes, updates, and maintains required documentation
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned
