Job summary

PRO is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) in Dallas, PA. Part-time, 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) during normal school hours, serving a K-21 caseload. This role supports students within the educational setting.

You will implement specialized therapy per IEP, administer assessments, analyze data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Documentation and ongoing professional support are included to help you grow within the role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active Pennsylvania OT license required.
• Minimum 1 year of consecutive experience with children in an educational setting.
• Must be comfortable using a computer for documentation and communication.
• Ability to complete documentation to school district standards.
• Current clearances within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy per student IEP.
• Administer occupational therapy assessments.
• Analyze assessment data to guide instruction and student progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent services.
• Serve on the IEP team and communicate with staff and families.
• Complete and maintain required documentation.
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.

What you’ll do as an Occupational Therapist (OT).

• Implement specialized therapy treatment in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Administers occupational therapy assessments to determine a student’s level of functioning relative to their age and educational placement in a variety of areas
• Analyze and interpret assessment data and facilitate the use of the data as a guide for operative instruction to improve student skills
• Collaborates alongside a multidisciplinary team including special education staff, classroom teachers, and other service providers to ensure continuity and consistency in providing comprehensive services to students
• Serves as a member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, IEP program team, and offer consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student’s goals
• Completes, updates, and maintains required documentation
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned
