Birch Tree Therapies LLC in Pennsylvania seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a therapist-centered team for the 2026–2027 school year. We are therapist-owned and understand day-to-day realities, with an established school caseload and supportive mentorship.

You’ll provide student-centered OT services, conduct evaluations and screenings, develop meaningful IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to promote participation and independence in classroom

Qualifications

• Licensed PA Occupational Therapist credential.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Experience in school-based OT settings.
• Demonstrated clinical reasoning and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

Part-Time | 2 Days/Week to Start | Opportunity to Grow

Birch Tree Therapies is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our therapist-centered team for the 2026–2027 school year. We are a therapist-owned and operated company, built by school-based clinicians who understand what this job actually looks like day-to-day. That means no unrealistic expectations, no impossible caseloads, and no feeling like you’re on your own. For this role, we are looking for an OT with school-based experience who is excited to continue learning and growing alongside a supportive team. You'll be stepping into an established school caseload and helping provide additional support where it's needed most. We currently have 2 full days available at one school, with opportunities for additional days at other BTT schools expected to open up soon.

What You’ll Do

Provide student-centered, strengths-based occupational therapy services

Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and screenings

Develop and implement meaningful, functional IEP goals

Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school teams

Support regulation, participation, and independence in natural classroom settings

Provide consultation and help identify accommodations and strategies that support student participation

Maintain organized and timely documentation

Prior school-based OT experience

Confident clinical skills and strong clinical reasoning

Strong communication and collaboration skills
