Job summary
Durham School Services is seeking a Van/Minibus Driver to transport students safely from Brentwood, NH, with on-time performance and a strong safety focus. Training is provided and no prior experience is required.
The role offers a starting pay rate of $23/hour and a $500 sign-on bonus for those with US licenses for 2 consecutive years. We offer a flexible schedule, competitive rates, and career opportunities, with no night or weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old (25 in TN per state law)
- Must possess or obtain valid state driver license and endorsements
- Must meet physical/medical requirements and pass drug screening
- Must complete training and pass all requirements
- Defensive driving required at all times and maintain safety first
Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus or vehicle to transport students safely and on time
- Maintain route on time and follow company policies
- Ensure safe passenger management and assist passengers in evacuations if needed
- Report accidents or incidents per policy and communicate issues to supervisor
- Present a neat, professional appearance and complete required paperwork promptly
- Safely operate vehicle equipment and support safe student transportation
