Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a part-time van driver to transport club members to and from school. The role requires safe operation of a 10-passenger van, adherence to routes, and maintaining accurate vehicle logs.

Responsibilities include assisting with snacks and clerical duties, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Previous childcare experience is preferred, with flexible hours to support after-school programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license for 3+ years; 5 points max; CDL preferred.
• Must pass FBI clearance and state background checks per Delaware regulations.
• Ability to operate a 10-passenger van.
• Experience transporting children and working in licensed childcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates van on schedule and designated route.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with regulations.
• Assist with snacks and clerical duties for after-school program.
• Maintain vehicle tracking logs daily.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle safety features.
