Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware seeks a part-time van driver to transport club members to and from school under the direction of the Program Director. You will operate the van on a designated route, ensure a safe driving record, and assist with snack service and related clerical duties.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, daily logs, reporting emergencies or hazards, and maintaining vehicle paperwork while adhering to all regulations and club policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a 10-passenger van and adhere to safety standards.
• Experience transporting children in licensed childcare settings preferred.
• Flexibility with hours and schedule.
• Familiarity with relevant state/federal regulations for transporting youth.

Responsibilities

• Operates van on schedule and within designated route.
• Maintain vehicle tracking logs daily and conduct pre-trip inspections.
• Assist with snack service and related clerical duties.
• Report emergencies, accidents, hazards and deviations to management.
• Maintain van logs and paperwork related to club vehicles.
