Job summary

F.M. Kuzmeskus Inc. (TravelKuz) is hiring a Charter Driver to transport clients safely to and from pickup points, with provided CDL training and flexible scheduling.

The role involves operating a school bus, evaluating traffic conditions, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Be prepared to work varied shifts including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license for 3+ consecutive years.
• Satisfactory driving record (no suspensions).
• Ability to pass a background check, CORI & SORI; CDL B with S&P endorsements OR willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus to transport passengers to and from field trips, sporting events, and more, safely and on time.
• Assess traffic and road conditions, monitor passenger behavior and other factors as necessary.
• Follow all state and federal traffic laws while operating the vehicle.
• Maintain CDL and state school bus certifications including adherence to regulations on criminal, medical, drug testing, and driving records.
• Assist passengers onto and off the vehicle when necessary.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks as required by company standards and state guidelines.

A Charter Driver is responsible for transporting clients to and from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner.

• Satisfactory Driving Record (no suspension etc.)

• Willing to drive to a variety of locations
• Need to be flexible with last minute changes

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate a school bus to transport authorized passengers to and from field trips, sporting events, and more in a safe and timely manner with provided directions.
• Assess traffic and road conditions, monitor passenger behavior and other factors as necessary.
• Follow all state and federal traffic laws while operating vehicle.
• Maintain proper CDL and state school bus certifications including adhering to state and federal guidelines regarding criminal, medical, drug test and driving records.
• Assist passengers onto and off the vehicle when necessary.
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and safety checks as required by company standards and state guidelines.
