Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. in Methuen, MA is seeking a Part-Time School Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school and events. The role may include helping students enter/exit the vehicle, using safety equipment, and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

You must be 21+, have a safe driving record and at least three years of driving experience, and pass background checks, drug screening, and the 7D physical. Training is provided, and a supportive team ensures consistent hours and pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate or willingness to obtain one (training provided).
• Safe driving record.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and the 7D physical.
• Effective communication in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• May assist students entering/exiting vehicle and using safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats).
• Drive assigned routes and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff and follow district policies.
