Responsibilities

• Oversees drivers and buses assigned to routes; coordinates substitute drivers and spare vehicles.
• Oversees pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensures proper vehicle parking on campus.
• Acts as liaison for equipment, routes, maintenance, and student discipline; provides reports to administration.
• Coordinates with maintenance vendors on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinates with safety and training vendors on onboarding and recertification.
• Advises school administration on applicants and bus operator issues; cannot hire/fire directly.
• Works with operators and Deans of Discipline on disciplinary matters.
• Coordinates evacuation drills and timely communications of routing issues.
