The role requires a valid CDL with P and S endorsements, CPR certification, and a clean driving record. You will conduct inspections, maintain vehicles, and coordinate with school leaders for on-time service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• Clean driving record in accordance with Safe Driver Plan.
• CPR Certification and School Bus Driver Certificate.
• Medical Examiner's Certificate and background check clearance.
• Annual safety trainings and driving assessments.

Responsibilities

• Operates school buses in compliance with laws, rules, and policies.
• Maintains discipline and ensures safe boarding and exit.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of buses.
• Coordinates with principals and transportation staff for route adjustments.
• Reports any mechanical issues and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
• Responds to emergencies and executes evacuation plans when needed.
• Keeps records and submits required accident and delay reports.
