Summit School Services is seeking a Dispatch/Operations professional to manage daily driver assignments, monitor route coverage, and ensure timely execution of bus routes and field trips. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, plus experience with routing software and two-way radios.

Responsibilities include coordinating emergency responses, maintaining route records, and ensuring compliance with policies while delivering reliable transportation services to customers.

Qualifications

• Dispatch experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local geography to plan efficient routes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and customers in fast-paced environments.
• Reading and interpreting documents and instructions from customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily assignments; schedules drivers and buses to cover routes and field trips.
• Monitors on-time performance and assigns replacements when needed.
• Communicates routing details to drivers for proper execution.
• Coordinates emergency response and vehicle/mechanical repairs when required.
• Maintains route documentation and records for compliance and customer information.
