We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our LPS Family! The School to Work Alliance (SWAP) Assistant Coordinator works under the direction of the SWAP Coordinator in conjunction with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation counselor to assist eligible youth ages 15-24 to secure and maintain meaningful employment. The SWAP Assistant Coordinator plans and develops school-based learning and work-based learning, as well as connecting activities for the two areas. The position assists the staffing team in developing the school-to-work initiative, as well as administers assessment and evaluation of the school-to-work initiative, andis responsible for planning and developing vocational experience consistent with this initiative. The Assistant Coordinator also assists in the identifying and development of student career assessments and student career portfolios/career plans, and represents the school at various functions and provides information for district, state, and national reports. The Assistant Coordinator establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with school personnel, parents, community members, and business and industry leaders.
Starting Salary: Grade 12 $33.59
