Job summary

Danbury Public Schools seeks a Technology/ IT Maintenance Technician to provide on-site support at an elementary level. You will help staff and students set up new devices, troubleshoot computers and peripherals, and coordinate with the district IT team to implement Gmail and Google Classroom across classrooms.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience with personal computers in school or office environments.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with basic repair and operation of school technology devices preferred.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Classroom, and related education software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff and students with setup and personalization of new devices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot computers and peripheral devices in school settings.
• Generate Help Desk tickets and monitor progress of site-based repairs.
• Act as school technology liaison for District-wide Gmail/Google Classroom integration.
