Job summary

BrightBee is seeking a School Support Associate to help keep San Jose area schools safe, organized, and welcoming for students. This flexible, app-based role functions as the glue of daily operations—from front office to cafeteria—with opportunities to work 2–5 days per week and various shift times.

No prior experience is required; HS Diploma/GED is enough, and bilingual Spanish is a plus. You’ll complete background checks and clearances, then start with guiding, monitoring, and assisting across

As a BrightBee School Support Associate,, you’ll work within the San Jose area. We are partnering with Rocketship Public Schools. The School Support Associate is versatile and proactive! The School Support Associate will join the team and help ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for our students. This role is the "glue" of our daily operations, providing essential support across the campus—from the front office to the cafeteria.

This is meaningful, flexible work that makes a direct impact on students and families in your community.

Responsibilities include:

• Campus Monitoring: Maintain a visible and positive presence throughout the grounds to ensure student safety and adherence to school guidelines.
• Cafeteria Support: Assist with lunchroom transitions, supervise student seating, and help maintain a clean (includes taking out trash), orderly dining environment.
• Office Operations: Provide administrative backup, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting with light filing or data entry.
• Operational Agility: Step in to assist with school events, morning arrivals, and afternoon dismissals as needed.

• Complete required school clearances which you are responsible for paying.
