Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based travel assignments in Statesville, NC. You will evaluate students and provide and document therapy services according to each plan of care and physician orders.

Active licensure in NC is required; CCC-SLP is preferred or may be contractually required. Expect compliance with standards, CPR if needed, and health documentation; candidates must meet all regulatory requirements and be at least 18.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by contract.
• Adheres to professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Meets all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
