Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in a school setting, located in Niceville, FL. You will evaluate students and provide documented therapy services according to each plan of care and physician orders.

Minimum requirements include active licensure as an SLP in the assignment state and CCC-SLP preferred. Competitive weekly pay, benefits, and compliance with health and safety standards are provided.

Qualifications

• Complies with relevant professional standards of practice.
• CPR current if applicable.

• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates students and provides therapy services in the school setting per plan of care and physician orders.
• Documents therapy sessions and progress as required.

Education

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
