Job summary

Danbury Public Schools is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist to evaluate speech, language, and hearing difficulties that affect educational progress. You will participate in PPT planning and coordinate with families, teachers, and staff to support student communication and success.

Responsibilities include individual and group therapy, evaluations, IEP development, and progress reporting. Master’s in SLP and CT 061 certification are required or eligible; bilingual candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology required.
• CT State Department of Education SLP certification (061) required or eligible.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Bilingual/multilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy for speech and language disorders.
• Conduct evaluations to determine needs and eligibility.
• Develop and implement IEPs for students needing services.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success.
• Maintain patient records and report progress to PPT and families.
