Danbury Public Schools in Danbury, CT, seeks a Speech and Language Pathologist to evaluate and address students' speech, language, or hearing difficulties and participate in PPT to determine eligibility and program planning.
The pathologist will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to implement IEPs, provide therapy, conduct evaluations, and maintain documentation while staying current with SLP best practices to support student success.

The Speech and Language Pathologist's responsibility is to evaluate the various speech, language, or hearing difficulties that may be interfering with a student's ability to make educational progress and to participate in the Planning and Placement Team (PPT) process to determine eligibility and plan an appropriate program. The pathologist works collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and help students overcome communication barriers.
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the current agreement between the Danbury Board of Education and the NEA-Danbury.
