Valley View Public School District is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves providing consult, integrated, and direct services to support students' speech goals within IEPs, plus screening and assessments.

The position requires current Illinois SLP-endorsement licensure and strong communication with students, families, and school teams. Eligible applicants should be prepared to contribute to IEP processes and adapt materials for diverse

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Teaching (PEL) Professional Educator Licensure endorsed with Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (Preferred).
• Ability to write and implement IEPs.
• Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, parents and student resource team; willingness to ensure communication occurs.
• Ability to modify instructional materials for students assigned to classroom.

Responsibilities

• Provide consult, integrated, and direct services to support students' speech goals per IEPs.
• Conduct screenings and assessments as part of IEP/evaluation process.
• Prepare and implement IEPs and related documentation.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents and support teams.
• Modify instructional materials to meet diverse learner needs.
