Job summary

The Valley View Public School District is seeking a full-time Speech and Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The role includes consult, integrated, and direct services to support IEP goals, as well as screening and assessments as part of the evaluation process.

Successful candidates will hold IL PEL licensure as an SLP with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt materials for diverse learners. Collaboration with staff and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Teaching (PEL) licensure endorsed for Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience as an SLP preferred
• Ability to write and implement IEPs
• Excellent communication with students, teachers, parents and staff
• Ability to modify instructional materials for students

Responsibilities

• Provide consult, integrated, and direct speech-language services per IEP
• Conduct screenings and assessments as part of IEP/evaluation process
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and student resource team
• Support implementation of IEP goals across settings
