Job summary

Valley View School District 365-U seeks a part-time Bilingual (Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The SLP will provide consult, integrated, and direct services to bilingual students and conduct screenings and assessments for IEPs.

Other duties align with district policies. The ideal candidate will hold Illinois licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, with preferred prior experience and the ability to develop and interpret bilingual assessments and IEPs, while

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Teaching Licensure in Speech Language Pathology.
• Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred.
• Ability to write and implement IEPs.
• Ability to evaluate and interpret bilingual (Spanish) assessments.
• Excellent communication with students, teachers, parents, and teams.
• Ability to modify instructional materials for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide consult, integrated, and direct services to bilingual Spanish-speaking students as per IEP goals.
• Conduct screenings and assessments as part of IEP/evaluation processes.
• Fulfill duties per Board policies and requirements as assigned.
