Job summary

Valley View School District 365-U in Bolingbrook, IL, seeks a full-time Bilingual (Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year to support students' communication goals under IEPs.

The SLP will provide consult, integrated, and direct services, conduct screenings and evaluations, and collaborate with families, teachers, and student resource teams to ensure effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Illinois licensure in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred.
• Ability to write and implement IEPs.
• Ability to evaluate bilingual (Spanish) assessments.
• Excellent communication with students, teachers, parents and staff.
• Experience adapting instructional materials for bilingual students.
• Experience communicating with bilingual Spanish families.

Responsibilities

• Provide consult, integrated, and direct services to support speech goals per IEP.
• Conduct screenings and assessments as part of IEP/evaluation processes.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and student resource teams to ensure effective outcomes.
• Contribute to district policies and requirements as needed.
