Job summary

Spruce Mountain School District - RSU #73 is seeking a Licensed Social Worker for Spruce Mountain Primary School in Maine. You will support students and staff with trauma-informed practices and social-emotional learning in classrooms and support staff.

Required credentials include Maine certification/licensure (LSW/LCSW or related) and successful CHRC fingerprinting. Collaborative teamwork and a commitment to student well-being are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Social Worker or related field.
• Experience with children and knowledge of early childhood development.
• Fingerprinting and CHRC required by Maine law.
• Maine certification and/or licensure valid for school employees.

Responsibilities

• Support students and staff with trauma-informed practices for de-escalation.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement social-emotional learning in classrooms.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on student well-being.
• Assist with districtwide social work interventions and planning.
