Spruce Mountain School District - RSU #73 in Maine is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to support students at Spruce Mountain Primary (K-2) and Elementary (3-5). The social worker will address environmental, socio-economic and emotional barriers to learning and collaborate with IEP teams.

Applicants must have Maine LCSW or conditional license, CHRC fingerprinting, and knowledge of special education law.

Qualifications

• Requires CHRC fingerprinting per Maine law.
• Current Maine licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Conditional Clinical.
• Knowledge and understanding of special education law preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop individual, group, or system-level interventions to address academic, social/emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs per IEPs.
• Collaborate with school personnel and parents to modify student intervention strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality and work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
