Job summary

School Blueprint is seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to provide comprehensive social work services for K–5 students at Southern Avenue Charter School. The role involves individual and group support, crisis intervention, case management, family engagement, and collaboration with school staff and community resources.

Responsibilities include MTSS/RTI coordination, IEP/504 participation, and maintaining confidential records while promoting a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Required Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current Tennessee social work licensure appropriate to the position (LSW or other applicable license as required).
• Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or school-aged populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group social work services to students experiencing academic, behavioral, social, emotional, or family-related challenges.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies based on student needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
• Coordinate with MTSS/RTI, IEP, 504, and other intervention meetings as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and information in accordance with laws and school policies.
• Establish positive relationships with families and connect them to school and community resources.
