Performance Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and evaluate interventions for students experiencing learning and behavioral difficulties through active involvement in the Student Support Team and consultation with school personnel
2. Assess students' needs through interviews of students, parents, and school personnel
3. Provide written reports of assessments, referrals, and/or interventions
4. Assist school teams with Functional Behavior Assessments and plans
5. Assist in determinations of eligibility for programs such as Section 504, IDEA, and manifestation determinations
6. Act as liaison with schools and families to increase understanding of students' needs and appropriate interventions
7. Provide direct services to students via individual and/or group counseling
8. Provide inservice training to school personnel and parents
9. Serve as a member of district and school crisis teams and respond to crises
10. Assist in developing policies and procedures for district-wide needs
11. Sustain focus and attention to detail
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Services and/or designee
