Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker in Colorado to support K-12 students through counseling and collaboration with families and school teams.

In this role you will provide individual and group social-emotional services, help create IEPs and BIPs, implement behavior strategies, and maintain regulatory records. A Colorado endorsement or enrollment in the school social work track is required, with 2 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field is required or preferred.
• Hold a Colorado Department of Education Social Worker Special Services Provider endorsement or be enrolled in the school social work track.
• 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in school, special education, or behavior health setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, group, or pull-in counseling services to students.
• Collaborate with school teams and families to create IEPs and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments and develop related plans (FBA, BIPs, transition plans).
• Implement behavior management and de-escalation strategies as needed for student safety.
• Maintain student files and documentation per regulatory requirements.
