• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between school and family.
• Confer with school personnel to provide home-related information for student support.
• Assist with attendance-related matters.
• Build effective relationships with students, parents, staff and others involved in student welfare.
• Assist in assessing student needs.
• Participate on school committees (Child Study, Eligibility, Crisis Intervention) to address student needs.
• Refer students and families to community resources.
• Consult with staff, parents and others to support student growth and development.
• Maintain case records and documentation.
