Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) in Maryland seeks a licensed social worker to provide individual and group counseling to K-12 students within in-district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will collaborate with school teams and families, develop IEP-related goals, complete assessments, and support PBIS frameworks to promote positive student growth and a safe, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Licensure as LPC/LCSW/LCPC or LMFT/LMHC required.
• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with children/adolescents in schools or similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or IEP-aligned counseling to students.
• Collaborate with school teams and families to support social-emotional goals.
• Develop and monitor IEP social-emotional objectives and BIPs.
• Complete assessments and contribute to behavior and transition planning.
• Support PBIS implementation and data-driven decision making.
• Maintain student records in accordance with regulations.
