Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a social worker.
• Experience in schools or healthcare social work.
• Experience supporting students with autism, high-needs or severe cases.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience mentoring Educational Assistants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Offer 1:1 support and direct intervention to a middle school student with severe autism.
• Develop individualized strategies to support emotional, social, and academic growth.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and specialists to implement the plan.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to an Educational Assistant working with the student.
• Document progress and maintain records; communicate with families regularly.
