Job summary

Community Autism Services in Aurora, CO is seeking a School Social Worker for our building-wide program. You will provide direct counseling, crisis support, and comprehensive social-emotional assessments across classrooms and grades, collaborating with teachers, BCBAs, and families to remove barriers to learning.

You will support IEP and eligibility processes, participate in multidisciplinary teams, and ensure timely documentation in compliance with SSP licensure standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Active Colorado CDE SSP license with School Social Worker endorsement or eligibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Must pass district fingerprinting and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assess social-emotional and developmental needs to inform supports.
• Deliver counseling and crisis intervention; support MTSS/RTI initiatives.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, school psychologists, and families to remove barriers to learning.
• Maintain accurate documentation per district/state/federal requirements.
