Job summary

Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services is hiring a School Social Worker in the East Allegheny School District. The role focuses on supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally through individual, group, and family-based interventions.

You will collaborate with educators and families, participate in IEP and MDT meetings, and help students access community resources while contributing to school-wide well-being and engagement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
• Active Pennsylvania LSW or eligibility for licensure is required.
• PDE School Social Worker Certification (Level I or II) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family-based interventions addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Assist students with crisis intervention and risk assessments.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams.
