Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
• Active LSW licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Eligibility for PDE School Social Worker Certification.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family-based interventions addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Support students through crisis intervention and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and community partners.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Assist students and families in accessing community resources and support services.
• Support attendance improvement and student engagement efforts.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve student well-being and school success.
• Provide consultation and professional development to school staff as needed.
• Help students transition between educational settings and levels of care.

What You’ll Do

• Eligible for Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) School Social Worker Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• PDE School Social Worker Certification (Level I or Level II)
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in school or community settings
• Knowledge of special education regulations, IEP processes, and school-based mental health services
