Job summary

Thrive Therapies seeks an SLPA to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement speech and language therapy activities for K-12 students. You will deliver structured intervention, collect data, and support students in achieving communication goals under guidance from your supervising SLP.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences or related field.
• ASHA-required coursework and clinical observation hours completed.
• State SLPA registration, licensure, or certification as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Implement SLP-designed therapy programs for articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
• Conduct one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
• Collect session data and maintain progress notes and report findings to the supervising SLP.
• Support AAC use and assistive technology per SLP direction.
• Assist with language-screening procedures and data collection under SLP supervision.
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to generalize skills across settings.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ASHA guidelines for SLPAs.
