Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform student evaluations and provide therapy in a school setting, following each student’s plan of care and physician orders.

The role requires active SLP licensure in the assignment state and CCC-SLP is preferred or may be required by state or contract. CPR and health certificates may be needed, with compliance to professional standards and age requirement.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP preferred or may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with relevant professional standards of practice.
• CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations and provide and document therapy services per plan of care.
• Follow physician orders and adhere to the established treatment plan.
