Job summary

Amergis, a national healthcare staffing firm, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve in a school-based setting. You will conduct student evaluations and provide and document therapy services according to each student’s plan of care and physician orders.

The role requires active licensure as an SLP in the assignment state; CCC-SLP is preferred or may be required by state/contract. CPR and health-certifications may be required by contract.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• CPR current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations in the school setting.
• Provide and document therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student and physician orders.

Education

Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
