Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based contract role. You will evaluate students and provide therapy services, documenting progress per the plan of care and physician orders.

The position focuses on delivering services within an educational setting and adhering to professional standards. The role requires current SLP licensure in the assignment state, CCC-SLP may be required, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required.
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician’s orders.
