Job summary

AHS Staffing is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a local contract in the Brighton, CO area.

The role is a school-based, in-person position at an elementary setting for the 2026-2027 year. Pay ranges $50–$60 per hour with 32 hours per week, Tuesday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, 33 weeks duration, and requires a Colorado SSP license for SLP. Experience in schools preferred.

Qualifications

• Colorado Department of Education SSP license for Speech-Language Pathology required
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• School-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized speech and language interventions
• Provide therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs
• Develop appropriate IEP goals and monitor student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and evaluations
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other school professionals
• Maintain required documentation and progress reports
• Provide strategies and recommendations to support students' communication in the educational environment
