AHS Staffing is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Golden, Colorado. The role is part-time, in-person, 15 hours per week, with an 8-hour day shift and 13-week duration.

We are targeting an Elementary School SLP to support middle school aged students in the Denver, CO area. Competitive benefits, licensure support, and weekly pay are included in the package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech pathology or communications disorders.
• CCC-SLP certification.
• ASHA certification.
• CDE Special Services Provider license with endorsement in Speech Therapist, Speech Correction or Speech/Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Manages and organizes materials and environment for the speech and language program.
• Provides educationally related communication intervention for students with language, speech or hearing disorders.
• Assesses speech and language skills and helps develop IEP goals with teachers.
• Provides resources, modeling strategies and training to team members.
• Communicates assessment results and progress to school staff, parents, and students, as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages and organizes specialized materials, equipment and environment essential to the speech and language program
• Provides educationally related communication intervention for students disabled by disorders of language, speech or hearing in a variety of settings as appropriate
• Assesses speech and language skills of students suspected of having a communication disorder and consults with teachers in developing IEP goals and objectives
• Provides resources, modeling strategies and training to other team members in communication interventions
• Communicates regularly the results of individual student assessment and progress with involved school staff (special and general education), parents and where appropriate the student
