Job summary

The Central Bucks School District is seeking a Security Assistant at CBS South High School to assist administration and staff in maintaining a safe and secure campus. You will work under the Safety & Security Lead and coordinate with local agencies to protect students and property.

This 10-month, full-time position offers $20.55 per hour with benefits. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid certification is required, with additional training valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further training or degrees preferred.
• Minimum one year of full-time security employment; experience with adolescents beneficial.
• Ability to read/write English to HS level; clear communication in emergencies.
• CPR/First Aid certification required; EMT or PA Act 235 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Through demonstrated professionalism, deter risks and criminal activity; respond to changes in conditions.
• Respond to emergencies; administer first aid and CPR; cooperate with law enforcement.
• Observe, report and note safety or hazardous situations or activities.
• Patrol locker rooms, rest rooms, lounges, study halls, stairwells, bus platform and other areas.
• Observe and report violations of laws; cooperate with law enforcement.
• Patrol parking lots and school grounds for suspicious or dangerous situations.
